16 OCTOBER – The devastating floods in Kedah have significantly disrupted the lives of many residents, particularly in the Baling. In response, EMZI Group, through our Wakalah Bencana EMZI initiative, provided critical aid to 359 flood victims currently sheltered at the Temporary Evacuation Centre (PPS) at Kompleks Rakan Muda, Baling. The emergency relief included essential items such as rice, drinking water, dry food, and other necessities to support the victims during this challenging time.
Yang Berhormat Brigadier General (Rtd.) Dato’ Haji Najmi bin Haji Ahmad, State Assemblyman (ADUN) for Kupang, played a hands-on role during the aid distribution ceremony at the PPS. Also present to assist in distributing the supplies was Mr. Mazlan bin Mohd Yusof, a member of the Baling District Council. Additionally, YB Dato’ Najmi’s team is actively involved in cleaning the affected homes now that floodwaters have begun to recede.
EMZI Group remains committed to supporting those affected by this disaster and prays for their continued strength in overcoming these hardships. We hope the relief efforts will provide some measure of comfort and help alleviate their burden, InshaAllah.
