LUNAS – On July 9th, EMZI Group proudly collaborated with Yang Berhormat Dato’ Ustazah Hajah Siti Ashah binti Haji Ghazali, Chairman of the Kedah Rural, Human Development and Poverty Eradication Committee, in organizing the EMZI Wakalah Zakat Distribution Ceremony at Pusat Dakwah dan Tarbiah Wadi An Nasr, Lunas. The event was officiated by YB. Dato’ Ashah and attended by EMZI Group’s Chief of Corporate Communications, Mr. Roslan bin Mohamed. A total of 100 identified asnaf from around Lunas were invited by YB. Dato’ Ashah to receive essential food supplies from EMZI Group.
In Mr. Roslan’s energetic speech, he highlighted EMZI Group’s commitment to support the local community, particularly the needy, through the distribution of wakalah zakat. This sentiment was echoed by YB. Dato’ Ashah in her speech, who stressed that corporate companies’ collaboration in assisting those who are less fortunate could be a turning point in improving their quality of life, thus enriching the economy.
We, at EMZI Group extends our heartfelt gratitude to Yang Berhormat Dato’ Ustazah Hajah Siti Ashah binti Haji Ghazali for her efforts in identifying and gathering all the needy individuals and families for this programme. EMZI Group aims for continuous bilateral collaboration with YB. Dato’ Ashah to support the less fortunate, ultimately lowering the poverty rate in Kedah.
