ALOR SETAR – On July 12th, EMZI Group once again initiated the effort to assist the needy in Kedah. EMZI Group has partnered with Yang Berhormat Tuan Haji Dzowahir bin Abdul Ghani, Kedah State Exco for Agriculture, Plantation and Transport, in organizing the EMZI Wakalah Zakat Distribution Ceremony in Alor Setar. The event, officiated by YB. Tuan Haji Dzowahir, was attended by EMZI Group’s Chief of Corporate Communications, Mr. Roslan bin Mohamed. A total of 100 boxes of EMZI Wakalah Zakat containing essential food items such as rice, oil, sugar, and others were distributed to recipients identified by YB. Tuan Haji Dzowahir.
In Mr. Roslan’s inspirational speech, he elaborated on EMZI Group’s focus on community welfare and our role as an active agent of social change in aiding the less fortunate, particularly asnaf groups through wakalah zakat distribution. YB. Tuan Haji Dzowahir also expressed support and encouragement for EMZI Group to continue collaborating with government agencies in the effort to promote inclusive and prosperous community development through such programs.
