18 SEPTEMBER – Kubang Pasu, one of the districts hardest hit by recent floods, has seen numerous families displaced and in urgent need of assistance. In response to this crisis, EMZI Group has proactively launched Wakalah Bencana EMZI, aimed at providing essential aid to those affected. Items such as food, drinking water, medications, and diapers were delivered to temporary evacuation centre (PPS) SMK Changlun, offering critical support to over 200 victims sheltered there.
The effort was further supported by several key figures, including YB Prof. Dr. Haim Hilman (Kedah EXCO for Industry and Investment), YB Dato’ Hajah Halimaton Shaadiah (Kedah EXCO for Welfare), YB Dato’ Wira Syed Khairol (Kedah State Financial Officer), and Tuan Mahazi Haji Ibrahim (District Officer of Kubang Pasu), who was present to personally distribute aid to the affected victims. A heartfelt thanks also goes to Hasani Mart for their generous donation of several cartons of drinking water. This combined efforts demonstrated a strong commitment to ensuring that assistance reached those in need, fostering a sense of unity and support for the affected communities.
