3 OCTOBER – His Royal Highness Al-Aminul Karim Sultan Sallehuddin Ibni Almarhum Sultan Badlishah, the Sultan of Kedah Darul Aman graciously attended the Kedah State Zakat Board (LZNK) Strategic Partner Appreciation Dinner held at One World Hotel, Petaling Jaya, Selangor. His Royal Highness was accompanied by DYTM Tengku Sarafudin Badlishah Ibni Al-Aminul Karim Sultan Sallehuddin, Raja Muda of Kedah and YTM Dato’ Tunku Shazuddin Ariff Ibni Al-Aminul Karim Sultan Sallehuddin, Tunku Mahkota of Kedah.
Also present at the event were several prominent figures including the Kedah State Secretary and Chairman of LZNK, YB. Dato’ Seri Haji Norizan Khazali; LZNK Chief Executive Officer, Dato’ Syeikh Zakaria Othman; EMZI Group Chief Executive Officer, Tuan Haji Mohamad Faizal bin Zainon, along with EMZI’s senior management and other distinguished guests.
At this ceremony, DYTM Raja Muda of Kedah graciously accepted a symbolic cheque from Tuan Haji Faizal, representing a substantial zakat on business payment of RM478,331.61 made by EMZI Group for the year 2023.
This appreciation event aimed to honor major zakat contributors that have significantly supported efforts to uplift the socioeconomic status of the underprivileged community in Kedah. EMZI Group remains committed to strengthening and deepening its collaboration with LZNK. Through our zakat contributions, we aim to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those in need and foster positive change within society.
