MERBOK – On July 18, EMZI Group once again collaborated with UiTM Kedah in an effort to assist those in need, especially students, through wakalah zakat donation of food supplies made to UiTM Kedah Food Bank Programme. The EMZI delegation, led by EMZI Group’s Chief of Corporate Communications, Mr. Roslan bin Mohamed, was warmly welcomed by the Rector of UiTM Kedah, Prof. Dr. Roshima Hj. Said, and the Deputy Rector of Academic Affairs, Dr. Junaida Ismail.
The UiTM Kedah Food Bank Programme is one of the initiatives by the institution itself to provide food assistance to students in need, especially those facing financial difficulties. EMZI Group is deeply concerned about the well-being of these students, and therefore has agreed to channel support in the form of wakalah zakat essential food contributions to UiTM Kedah to support the programme. The contribution was solidified by the passing of the mock cheque by Mr. Roslan to Prof. Dr. Roshima.
This initiative by EMZI Group is an investment aimed at nurturing future leaders and scholars, particularly among the students of UiTM Kedah. Apart from academic achievement, student well-being is also a crucial factor in ensuring their success. EMZI Group hopes that this effort will continue to strengthen the foundation of human capital development for future generations.
