ALOR SETAR – On July 7th, EMZI Group was honored to be the main sponsor of the Sebakul Kasih Program organized by Universiti Utara Malaysia, in collaboration with Sime Darby Berhad, PETRONAS and PERKIM Kedah. The objective of this program is to celebrate 37 orphans at the Darul Aitam Walmasakin Orphanage (DATAR), Alor Setar, Kedah. The arrival of EMZI Group delegation, led by Puan Noor Nastassia Farhana Idayu binti Mohamad Redza was warmly welcomed by the Second Vice President of PERKIM Kedah, YBhg. Datin Hajah Aishah binti Ibrahim; the program director, Mr. Muhammad Zafarul Amir bin Zaidi; the program advisor, Mr. Muhammad Noor Fitri bin Ahmad; and the top management of DATAR.
The organizer conducted various activities to bond and interact with the participants. Additionally, these activities also aim to help them gain a deeper understanding of themselves and their potential. Moreover, as an encouragement for these children to remain enthusiastic about learning, EMZI Group has provided school supplies for all of them along with five boxes containing essential food supplies such as rice, cooking oil and sugar for DATAR’s management. The joy and happiness shown by the children made this contribution even more meaningful.
This is one of EMZI Group’s efforts to continue helping those in need, regardless of age. The initiative by Universiti Utara Malaysia, Sime Darby Berhad, PETRONAS and PERKIM Kedah to organize this program deserves praise. These children are the nation’s hope in the future, thus every bit of assistance is crucial for their development and the formation of their identity. EMZI Group hopes that opportunities for collaborations like this can continue in the future for the betterment of the community. We pray the best for the children and the management of DATAR.
