12 MAR – As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting communities in need, EMZI Group, in collaboration with Dewan Perniagaan Melayu Malaysia (DPMM) Kedah, carried out the EMZI Care Wakalah Zakat Distribution Programme at the DPMM Building, Alor Setar. The initiative was led by Mr Hussairi Abd Manap, Chief Executive Officer of EMZI Properties Sdn. Bhd., reflecting our continued dedication to ensuring zakat assistance reaches eligible asnaf families in a timely and meaningful manner.
During the programme, 30 relief boxes containing basic food supplies and essential household items were distributed to eligible recipients across Alor Setar. While many beneficiaries received their assistance at the DPMM Building, EMZI personnel also visited the homes of recipients who were unwell and unable to leave their homes. This ensured that those facing health or mobility challenges were not excluded from receiving support. The door-to-door outreach demonstrated our commitment to delivering assistance with care, dignity and compassion. It also reflected our efforts to ensure that support reaches those who need it most.
The Wakalah Zakat Distribution Programme reflects our belief that meaningful community support extends beyond financial assistance to include empathy, accessibility and personal engagement. Through this collaboration with DPMM Kedah, we remain committed to strengthening the well-being of underserved communities and creating a lasting positive impact through initiatives guided by EMZI Care’s Pillar of Asnaf, one of the seven pillars that form the company’s core values.
