3 JANUARY – EMZI Group of Companies continues our commitment towards community wellbeing by participating in the Circumcision Perdana Program for Orang Asli children held at Surau Lubuk Legong, Baling, Kedah. Organised by Kedah State Zakat Authority (LZNK), the programme brought together local residents and community representatives, with participation from Corporate Communication Department of EMZI Group alongside village representative, Ustaz Ubal.
A total of 30 male children participated in the programme, including 15 Orang Asli children from the Kensiu tribe, reflecting LZNK’s focus on extending support to communities in need, wherever they may be. As part of EMZI Group’s Wakalah Zakat initiative, 30 boxes of essential daily necessities were distributed to asnaf families in the community. The assistance aimed at easing the recipients’ financial burden while providing practical support for their daily requirements.
