25 JUNE – As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting communities in need, we carried out the EMZI Care Wakalah Zakat Distribution Programme at Masjid Al Maarif Jeneri, Sik, Kedah. The initiative reflects our continued efforts to channel zakat assistance to eligible asnaf families while strengthening our community outreach through meaningful and accessible support.
A total of 40 relief boxes containing basic food supplies and essential household items were distributed to eligible recipients from the surrounding community. The programme also featured a speech by Mr Azrul Hafiz, EMZI Group’s Chief of Human Capital, who highlighted the importance of compassion, community support and collective responsibility in creating meaningful impact for those in need. Through this initiative, we were able to extend practical assistance while fostering closer engagement with the local community.
EMZI Care Wakalah Zakat Distribution Programme reflects our belief that supporting communities goes beyond providing material assistance, but also requires empathy, care and meaningful engagement.
